PopJam - Editorial Content Production

PopJam was the leading kid-safe social media app for kids under 13. Generation Z and Alpha are increasingly hanging out online and PopJam was a safe haven for kids to draw, talk and game together. Working as a Content Specialist at SuperAwesome led me to create the content for the PopJam app by producing the daily editorial content, setting up daily drawing challenges and managing content for World Day events.
Here I led the creative direction of PopJam's daily content, helped support the community by directly talking to players and building an engaging experience for users. Check out some of the fun content initiatives that I setup to build engagement, supporting brand takeovers such as World Oceans Day, Earth Week and Halloween.
The PopJam had 150K daily active users however in 2023 it sadly closed down. I also took the lead in design the communications to users and the social channels informing everyone of the news. This was a strict project conveying th correct messaging to users in a heartfelt manner. Below is one of the posts that I designed for the announcement on the app.
